Overall Points
The score ring shows your achieved course points and the points currently attainable. The percentage uses attainable points, so it can change as further exercises become assessable. If no points are available yet, the ring shows a neutral outline with 0% and 0 / 0 points. Open Point breakdown and course scoring rules for attainable and overall points by exercise type, presentation requirements, and presentation points when configured. If your course uses exercise variants, total earned points and points credited after the variant-group limit are shown separately. A limit shared across exercise types can make their separately calculated totals differ from the course total. In that case, the circle shows credited course points and missing attainable points. The detailed type totals remain available.

A configured grading key is available next to your grade or bonus.
Submitted exercises counts recorded submissions independently of assessment. Starting an exercise alone does not count as a submission, and a submission awaiting assessment still counts.
Performance in Exercises
The performance chart includes released exercises after their assessment period. All submission deadlines, including individual extensions, must also have passed. A recorded score of zero is shown as zero; a missing score leaves a gap. Select an exercise result in the chart to open the exercise.
Students with similar results is enabled by default and can be turned off. Artemis groups students into three or four groups using their mean assessed percentage across finished exercises included in the course score. Students with equal averages stay together, so group sizes can differ. These groups describe assessed results; they do not measure learning ability.
Your score is excluded from the comparison average, as are your own team's results for team exercises. A comparison requires at least ten other students in the selected group and ten independent peer results for each exercise. Team results count once for this minimum even when several team members belong to the group. If there is too little evidence, or equal averages prevent forming at least three groups, the comparison is omitted. A whole-course average is not substituted.
Points per Exercise
Exercise results lists linked exercise titles and results in the same format used elsewhere in Artemis. Use the visible exercise-type and assessment-status buttons and the search field to narrow the list by exercise title or category. Results are ordered by due date and paginated in groups of twenty.
Awaiting assessment and Not submitted distinguish submitted work from exercises with no recorded submission. Labels identify bonus exercises, exercises excluded from the course score, and variant-group point limits.
The course's category filters affect the exercise list and performance chart. They do not change course point totals or learning-material completion. Category selections remain unchanged when you toggle Hide Optional. Reloading the page restores the default filters: all categories selected and optional exercises hidden. An empty course shows a message explaining that no exercises are available; pagination appears only when there are results to browse.
Learning-Material Completion
Courses with released, tracked lecture content show Learning-material completion, grouped into slides and recordings, text units, and online resources. Exercise lecture units are counted with exercises instead. Completion reflects an opening, download, followed link, or manual check, depending on the content type. It does not measure understanding or video watch time.
Competency Progress
Courses with competencies show progress and mastery separately, alongside the mastery threshold set by the instructor. Select a competency to inspect its details. For an explanation of these measures, see Adaptive Learning.
