Quiz Exercise
Overview
Quiz exercises allow you to test your knowledge through different types of questions including multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, and short-answer questions. Quizzes can be timed and may have specific start times depending on how your instructor configured them.
Participating in a Quiz
If a quiz exercise is available on the Artemis home page as a current exercise, you will be able to see it in the course overview or inside the course where it belongs.
To start the quiz, press the
button.
If the quiz is set to start at a specific time and you open it before, you will see a message asking you to wait until the quiz starts and displaying the remaining time.
Solving the Quiz
When the quiz starts, you can see the questions and solve them.
The quiz page is composed of:
- Options:
- Options with circles mean one choice could be correct
- Options with squares mean multiple options could be correct
- Last time saved: The quiz will save all changes automatically
button: To allow you to submit the quiz before the time ends
The quiz automatically saves your changes as you make them. However, when the quiz time's up, the answers will be submitted automatically.
Drag-and-Drop Questions
In the case of Drag and Drop questions, the items to be dragged and dropped in the spots will be available on the right side.
To submit and finish the quiz, press the button. However, when the quiz time's up, the answers will be submitted automatically.
Viewing Results
The assessment is automatic and you can see the result of the overall quiz and of specific questions. In the case of multiple-choice questions, the solution will be displayed.
In the case of Drag and Drop questions, the solution is shown by clicking the
button.
After completing a quiz, you can review your answers and compare them with the correct solutions to learn from your mistakes.
